Buffalo, N.Y. - Three businesses in Western New York have had their Better Business Bureau accreditation revoked.
That includes one business in Rochester: Webber Enterprises, Inc. According to BBB, Webber Enterprises failed to respond to a consumer complaint. Revocation of BBB accreditation occurs following an involved and careful review led by BBB's ethics & standards committee and the BBB board of directors. According to the requisites for accreditation, a company must promptly respond to any and all complaints forwarded by BBB, and make good faith efforts to resolve all such complaints in accordance with generally accepted good business practices. The company must maintain at least a B rating. Prestige Lawn Care of Buffalo (currently C- rated), and Payne's A-Z of Campbell (currently C rated) also had their accreditation revoked for failing to respond to a consumer complaint. Under BBBs by-laws, all final actions by the Board of Directors to exonerate, suspend or revoke accreditation are a matter of public record.
