Camden, NJ (May 30, 2017) – Today, the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) announced its endorsement of City Councilman Frank Moran for Mayor, along with his running mates Angel Fuentes, Sheila Davis and Curtis Jenkins.
The endorsement event will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 4 p.m. at the Roosevelt Plaza Park (North Fifth Street, Camden, NJ).
“Camden’s rebirth is the work of many individuals and organizations like the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, which are committed to seeing the City Invincible rise to greatness once again,” said Frank Moran, mayoral candidate and current Camden City Council President. “Throughout my career, I have fought to ensure the rights of workers. I’m honored to have the support of the NRCC because the organization understands that quality and integrity in both your craft and leadership speaks volumes.”
John Ballantyne, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the NRCC, stands by Moran as he runs for Mayor.
“The NRCC is proudly supporting Moran during the campaign because of his continued fight for key worker rights issues that are important to union workers,” said Ballantyne. “Now more than ever, we need political leaders who will defend and fight for the middle class and its workers.”
