Edison, NJ (June 6, 2017) – Today, the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) announced its endorsement of BettyLou DeCroce in her re-election bid for State Assemblywoman in New Jersey Legislative District 22.
"My priority in Trenton is to fight for hardworking middle-class families and taxpayers, and to support policies that help to create jobs and strengthen our economy,” said DeCroce. “I am grateful that the Carpenters and its members saw fit to recognize my efforts and honor me with their endorsement."
John Ballantyne, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the NRCC, stands by DeCroce as she runs for re-election in the New Jersey State Assembly.
“The NRCC is proudly supporting DeCroce during her campaign because of her continued support of workers’ rights issues such as: project labor agreements, ensuring area standard wages and upholding the Davis Bacon Act, which are all key issues that remain important to union workers,” said Ballantyne. “Now more than ever, we need political leaders who will defend the middle class and its workers.”
